Smok had already offered us a pipe Guardian 1 version that, aesthetically, despite its measurements, was varnished wood and all well recalled the usual object of smokers. Quickly obsolete, this model did not make many followers, as its design (18350 battery) and its features were limited.
Smok has therefore adapted the concept to the taste of the day and offers a truly complete kit with this 75W VW mod, TC (Variable Wattage, Temperature Control) and TVF4 Plus, equipped with 2 tanks for 2 different capacities. A charging option, which we regret is not “passthrough”, via an eGo type charger to screw into the 510 connection, also provided.
The package is complete, for a reasonable price, so you will be in the presence of an original object, which however will not be suitable for the female thanks to its measurements and its unique black color.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
The pipe without the battery with the ato weighs 188g (only: 119g). Its shell is rather solid plastic, shiny black, which does not forgive greasy fingers or loaded with juice (bad weather for drippeux). The "hearth" is closed off by the circular smoked glass which protects the screen. Stainless steel strapping surrounds this equipment. The switch is easy to handle, it is located on the edge of the fireplace above the elongated body which receives inside: the battery, and at its end the ato via its floating 510 connection. The cover has vents (23 holes in total) for degassing, it is held in place by magnets, effectively.
The total height is 59mm for the hearth part and the diameter of the 510 connection plate is 27mm grooved to make air intake possible from below. The positive pin is made of brass, it receives the TFV4 Plus which I will talk about later.
The total dimensions, assembled kit, to remember are: 150 x 59 x 46,5mm. The overall quality is satisfactory, due to its position the cover must be well maintained and this is the case, this kit is sober, compact, but lacks finesse in terms of the connection with the ato, 27/24,5, XNUMXmm, there is a noticeable and aesthetically annoying mismatch.

The package arrives in a black cardboard box, with a cover covering it completely. This one is itself wrapped in a thin cardboard case, on which are inscribed the basic information of the present objects, a short introduction on the functions, 2 QR codes which send you on the site of Smok to download the software of interoperabilities , a sticker of authenticity and the picture of the set-up.
Inside on two floors you will find the pipe, the atomizer, the connectors, a spare resistance, the chimney extender for the 5,5ml tank, the famous tank, a tank protection ring, and instructions which, although written in English, is very generously decorated with explicit photos, to indicate the operations to be carried out in order to get the most out of your acquisition, knowing that there is only one button to execute everything, that is not a problem, 5, 3 or 1 being understandable by all.

You will be able to "control" your box from your PC, smartphone or tablet, and I admit not having had the experience to tell you more about it, as for the "puff" counter, it is a bit beyond me, (I am of a generation more materialistic than virtual and I like to vape in fact).
The mod itself is not difficult to master its features, it responds well to the solicitations for which it is designed, it's always that. The atomizer is interesting in its concept, and I will dwell on it a little.
The Micro TFV4 Plus is not as aptly named, as its measurements reveal. If its height is not very large: 51mm with the drip tip, its diameter is rather large for a "Micro": 24,5mm! It is almost perfect on the Lavabox.
That being the case, this atomizer is part of the clearomizers and has some nice features. The filling from the top is a very timely, well thought out, it operates by rotating the top cap on an axis, without having to remove anything, perfect for nomads.
The drip tip is equipped with an AFC (airflow control) that allows you to cool your vape. It does not heat at all because its dual air / steam design allows for effective thermal urination.
The base of the plate that receives the proprietary resistors is equipped with four adjustable air intake vents to allow all the vapes from the tighter, to airy.
Finally, Smok has designed a large tank of 5,5 ml for heavy vapors, which takes the place of the original 3,5ml tank, with a chimney extension that adapts the new size of the pyrex to the head of the resistance by simply screwing.
I think that the RBA board that equips the normal TFV4 must also be able to fit on this one, just like the chimney extension and the 5,5ml tank.
With all this equipment, and its resistances provided, it turns out to be a good sub hom atomizer, very honorably placed in terms of restitution of flavors and effective in vapor production. The whole set-up is therefore of good quality, no leaks to report, good autonomy of the two elements (once the settings have been made you can do without the screen and reduce the consumption of the battery).

Smok has taken care of his new e-pipe, it's a fact. In a few months, here is appeared a kit that will probably relegate other similar products to the closet. Although intended for a male clientele, this object should finally satisfy the lovers of the concept who want to vaper in safety, with a certain comfort and especially a considerable autonomy.
The Guardian III and its clearomizer group its attributes and joined quietly, the leading pack of the vape geek.
