Kamry offers us an original rereading of the electro box. Indeed, at first glance this box with a corsair look has many advantages to seduce those looking for a more classy look and different from the boxes which flood the market by taking up and using an agreed design, seen and reviewed. Powered by two 18650 batteries and being able to reach 100 watts, this neoclassical box is placed in the top of the range by its price. But did Kamry give himself all the means to make this box a model of its kind?

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
First point, this box is big and heavy, the wood often used for its beauty, but also its lightness and its robustness is only used here for the look. The design of this double tube is clumsy and a bit rough. In my opinion, the biggest flaw is the use of zamac, this alloy of aluminum, zinc and copper sorely lacking in class compared to a brass, like the one used for the Slug for example. This mixture of materials evokes for me the quintessence of Chinese “cheap”. We try to deceive ourselves but I am a little impervious to this type of approach. The fire button can also be improved: it is not perfectly wedged and is noisy in use. One of the positive aspects is the power adjustment wheel, that's pretty cool and not often used on traditional boxes, too bad the assembly at the level of this part is a bit rough and suggests once plus the lack of precision that some brands may exhibit.
Finally, the OLED screen could have been a little round in the spirit of the Istick mini, because the small rectangle screen, the design of which we can easily guess in the round location, gives us the feeling of an approach again unfinished .
In short, it is not a total horror and some will be seduced, but I am a little disappointed, especially compared to the price which seems a little high compared to the overall quality.

This mod works great. The vape is properly regulated, the switch is responsive and the screen is simple and clear (even if, as I said above, it could or should have been round). All the essential safety devices are there (reverse polarity, short circuit, etc.). We will note the presence of a fixed connection (Why? Why?), Which I do not understand, at a time when almost all of the boxes offer 510 connections on spring, Kamry installs a fixed pin ... On this period, I do not say "bravo", see I say zero points, we are still talking about a box at 120 €.
Otherwise you will be able to test 100 watts with resistance between 0,5 and 0,7 ohm.
Nice feature for my taste: a normal mode from 7 to 40 watts which will be recommended for resistances greater than 0,7Ω and a super mode for power vaping which will widen the range from 7 to 100 watts usable with low resistances.

Regarding the packaging, we are in the good average but nothing more. Indeed, we are sold a product that is original in terms of design and we deliver it in an ordinary cardboard box. I say: blah, too bad, a box like a treasure chest, with the skull pavilion, finally something that throws a little and announces the universe from which the object in question comes from would have been welcome no ?
For the rest, we have a manual in full English but not understandable by all (yes, not everyone speaks English or Vulcan fluently.

Anyway it's a bit like the rest, the experience is not complete.

The vape provided by this box is pleasant, responsive but not too brutal and very smooth. On this point, the chipset is effective.
The controls are simple and easy to learn, the wheel is a very good idea to replace the + and - buttons.
Too bad its aesthetics were not more worked, a toothed wheel spirit would have been more to my taste ...
The valve for the batteries is convenient even if I ask myself about the solidity of the hinge, indeed the zamac can be brittle and not resistant to shocks.
A little imposing, I do not see myself carrying it in any pocket whatsoever. The double tube of the overall shape, has two different diameters, I find it uncomfortable for small hands, but good with training, we will end up finding our comfort grip especially if we are sensitive to its style.
Lovers of absolute flushitude: the pine tree is fixed! It is said you are warned.
All this keeps me in this feeling of unfinished work. This is a box that offers interesting choices but does not fully assume.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
I saw myself already walking the streets wearing my favorite jeans, my khaki denim jacket, naturally worn by time, with its holes and faded color, sneakers on my feet… Become rebellious again despite my 40s, and there, I would have released the ultimate weapon of the modern-day rebel: my pirate box. Here I am Jack Sparrow with 40kg more and sparse hair, imagine the picture ...
But now, the Kamry 100 is not quite what I imagined. It gives me this impression of shoddy borderline work. Full of good intentions, wood, an adjustment wheel, a practical battery hatch, but each time a shadow seems to want to darken the picture.
A vape of quality, yes, but a fixed pin.
And I have the feeling that everything for me is like that with this box. So I'm probably a bit silly but I would have a hard time telling you which qualities outweigh… or faults.
So take a close look at it and tell me what you think because I can't make up my mind. I can't decide. Maybe I'm too picky, or the subject inspired me, and suddenly I find lots of things that I wouldn't have seen like that?
My trip ends there, I did not set sail, the boat did not succeed in seducing me, but it has already won over others, and do not deprive yourself of the experience if it is try, because all this is only my personal opinion.
