With the Ijust Start +, Eleaf offers us, as its name suggests, a starter kit. In French in the text: a set for beginners.
This boxing kit in the Ego One category. It is a battery with a direct output voltage, associated with a GS Air 2 atomizer of 19mm. It is therefore a simple product that is aimed at beginners or vapers with a basic kit, Ego / T2 style, who want a little more without diving into the world of boxes.
At a price lower than 40 €, Eleaf is placed as usual in the entry level, its favorite field.

The Ijust Start + is made of stainless steel. It measures 120 mm, which makes it a compact and discreet product. The 19mm diameter gives it a rather chunky appearance. The design is very consensual. It's a classic hit. The switch is round, it is very efficient and unlike that of its cousin the Ego One, it does not suffer from any play.
The Gs Air 2 is well connected. It too is a versatile design. There are no bad surprises, this kit is very well finished, it does not suffer from any quality concerns. Only the technical choice for the atomizer airflow ring seems questionable to me but I will tell you about it later.

The kit battery offers a spring-loaded 510 stud, a micro USB port placed laterally, which allows the battery to be left upright during recharging and an autonomy of 1600mah.
The fire button is surrounded by a luminous net provided by an LED. When you shoot a puff, it will light up. When you release the switch, the light stays on for a while. If it is fixed, there is more than 60% energy left. When it flashes slowly, 59-30% remains. Faster, 29 to 10% remain. And very quickly, it's less than 9%.
Of course, the product has basic protections (short circuit and low voltage) and a cut-off at 15 seconds.
The atomizer, it uses proprietary resistors of 0,75Ω, 1,2Ω or 1,5Ω. Enough to cover the needs of a first-time buyer. It contains 2,5ml of liquid, which is a reserve consistent with the style of the product. The airflow is adjustable using a silicone ring. I find that average, especially since the ring is very flexible, which for me does not facilitate precise adjustment.
In the end a minimalist product perfect to start well.

Eleaf delivers this kit in a cardboard box in a style common with the other products of the brand. It's not very original but it's clean and the kit is complete: atomizer, battery, 2 resistors, a USB cable and the famous silicone adjustment ring.
Add to that a complete notice in French and it is the maximum score, taking into account of course the very attractive price.
Appreciations in use
- Transport facilities with the test atomizer: Ok for an inside jacket pocket (no deformations)
- Disassembly and cleaning facilities: Easy, even standing on the street, with a simple Kleenex

This product is made to accompany you on a daily basis. It is lightweight and takes up little space in the pocket.
The filling of the atomizer is done from the bottom and does not pose any particular concerns, just be careful to prime the resistance by putting a drop of liquid before filling the ato. The 1600mah will be perfect for the day. Just in case, know that it can be used even when you recharge it thanks to the pass-through function.
In short, an easy-to-use product which consolidates its place as a starter kit by its ease of use.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
As you can see, the Ijust Start plus is a very good product to start with. The price / quality ratio is very correct, the kit is complete and simple. I will just note, that once again, the starter kit only contains resistors under the ohm, which I find questionable when the majority of target customers are beginners.
Indeed, if this is your first purchase, consider buying in addition resistance in 1,2 or 1,5Ω which will be more adapted to the beginnings of a vapoteur.
The advantage of this kind of kit is that you can easily evolve over the first six months of your vape without the fuss, just by changing the resistance and the airflow setting. The price of consumables is average with a price around 2 €.
For me, the only big minus is the removable silicone airflow ring of the clearomizer like the Aromamizer. It's a bit cheap and imprecise. Even if, at worst, it can be used to protect your tank. But I find the concept impractical.
Another good product from Eleaf which does not revolutionize the genre since it does not add anything really new, but it does the job well and for a modest price.
