The Gemini is still an RDTA type atomizer, this one is offered to us by Vaporesso which recently obtained a great success with its Target set-up and its ceramic coils.
The Gemini is part of this new line of atomizers which brings together the world of drippers and tank atomizers and claims a tasty and generous vape. These atomizers are multiplying and all brands will soon offer their model, given the plebiscite they get from the community.
The Gemini adopts a competitive tariff position, unless 40 € and it seems well armed to find its place.
But does this atomizer stand out from its counterparts? Or, like many, is it just yet another variation of this successful system.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
The Gemini was designed in the USA, I find it visually very close to the Griffin, especially when it receives the top cap with airflow.
The design is pleasing to the eye. Well proportioned, it seems less massive than some of its competitors. Sober, it receives, as a decoration, a deep “Vaporesso” engraving at the top-cap and, on the bell, two symbols that characterize the sign of Gemini.
Rather compact: 22mm in diameter and 51mm high, it has a capacity of 3,5ml in this version, you will find a 4,5ml version in the catalog.
The machining is very satisfactory and the materials are of a quality in accordance with its price positioning: stainless steel, Pyrex, Delrin and gold-plated pine, only the quality of the joints of the tank seems to me just average, in my case they are literally glued with pyrex, which suggests a certain fragility in the making.
I find it nice even if it gives me a feeling of déjà vu. If it borrows a lot from its competitors already on the market, it is nonetheless interesting, because the best is yet to come.

Like all atomizers of this type, the Gemini offers a Velocity style deck. Broad enough, it can easily mount a double Clapton coil 3mm diameter. A removable ring keeps your lashes. In short, a system that I will call conventional.
The filling is done from the top, by unscrewing the top-cap while having closed, of course, the arrival of liquid. And yes ! you understood it, we can regulate the arrival of juice.
At this moment, we can say that this Gemini does nothing more and that it only follows the codes set up with its predecessors.
It is the airflow system that allows the Gemini to stand out. It offers to supply your coil with air from the top and from the bottom, regulated by an airflow control ring at the level of the base and one at the level of the drip-tip (this is also where the name I think).
But, again, this system also exists with at least one competitor: the Griffin. Vaporesso had the idea of adding a tube between the two pads which diffuse air on the internal face of the coil. It's not much, but it's innovative, it means that the coil is almost surrounded by air inlets, which offers great homogeneity to the flavor / vapor mix.
This is the little extra that allows Gemini to stand out, it's not huge, but it's very smart, we adopt all the solutions that work in others and we bring the little extra to give of legitimacy and pretend to stand out.

It is not one but two drip tips that are offered in the pack. Both in Delrin, the first with a diameter of 13,5 mm leaves no doubt about its destination: cloud chasing. The second is used with an 510 adapter and it offers a more conventional format.
With these two drip tips, the Gemini does not need anything else to allow you to exploit its potential.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
Vaporesso again adopts the most widely used packaging on this market. A transparent plastic box wrapped in a sheath which bears the photo of our new playmate. Inside, the ato is accompanied by two separate drip-tips and a replacement tank (wise, the tank is rather exposed). A pseudo notice, the proportions of which could make believe that it was made for Hobbits because it is so small. It offers the bare minimum of info and is not translated.
In this regard we are right in the middle of the Chinese mid-range products, it is quite honorable, a pity that the instructions leave something to be desired, otherwise I think we would have reached the max rating.
Appreciations in use

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
In use, the Gemini is a very good competitor to other RDTA models. Easy assembly, easy filling, this atomizer is very practical. No leaks, a substantial production of vapor and a very good restitution of flavors.
The “multi-zone” airflow (like the air conditioning) seems to improve the homogeneity of the mixture and offer a definite taste advantage.
Really no bad surprises, this atomizer is compatible with daily use, the only small minus, it is perhaps its capacity of 3,5ml which does not offer a great autonomy. But it's really to find something for him, because it's really not a problem, especially compared to the quality of vape it offers.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
The Gemini, evokes duality, twinning and for once I find that the name is not totally disconnected from the product, since for me it relates both to a certain versatility of the product, but especially to this system of airflow which I qualified as multi-zone.
The Gemini joins the pack of RDTA who literally swept the market, and my faith, it stands out and ranks among the best.
It offers a very good restitution of flavor and allows you to modulate your vape thanks to the possibilities of adjusting the airflow and the arrival of juice.
To complete the picture, it is rather pleasing to the eye and of a very respectable build quality.
Intended for informed users, its quality / vape / price ratio could convince more than one and open the way to the podium in this category, it is one of the best of its kind for me and obviously for my colleague Fredo since both of us agree to grant him the Top Ato.
