Comments on the packaging

The “Dark Story” saga, which we have leafed through with simple happiness throughout this summer, had the merit of inducting Alfaliquid into the restricted circle of the great writers of French vaping. Not a single one of the volumes that I consumed with the joy of a young lady going to her first ball has disappointed me. On the contrary, I found some authentic pearls there which greatly contributed to changing my opinion on the brand which, until now, had certainly produced good works but most often intended for a beginner readership. Nothing infamous about it, on the contrary, but a little frustrating for seasoned vapers.

Dragon Oil… Immediately, the parallel with a great British juice comes to mind…. I sense an event just by reading the name of this liquid. Are we going to attend the game of who has the longest tail between the two reptiles? Can Alfaliquid openly refer to a juice so famous and adored by swarms of vapers by delivering a mediocre clone? Too dangerous, too obvious. Is this then the Gallic response to the hegemonic Briton likely to provoke a new Hundred Years War? We will see.

In any case, the French rider appears on the chessboard in parade dress. In black dressed. All glass from head to toe and perfectly informing the undecided spectators about his intentions, we can not blame him. He looks worthy and does not take his audience back. 50/50, obvious nicotine level, lots of clear information, it's a dream opening to start the game ...

Opposite, the opponent advances a pawn. It won't last twice. The Dragon moves, a monastic concentration on his august forehead. Is he safe? Yes, the squire took care of it. Everything is in accordance with the rules of the ancestral game. From the strap of the helmet that prevents children from grabbing it to the lot number stamped below the armor. No detail escaped the team who got busy dressing the fighter.

Of course, there is alcohol ... But just a drop to give yourself courage and to promote staying power. Thus provided however, it will not be suitable for followers of Islam but the color is announced, there is no deception on the merchandise.

Second trip. Behind, the troops organize themselves to march on the secular enemy. The fight promises to be tough but courage is winning the ranks. The silence takes on all its density and becomes thick like pitch soup.

Overhanging with a good head the army he is training, the banneret advances in the rising sun and his silhouette stands out in shadow on the crest. The setting is beautiful but simple. Deep black glass, seeming to repel the onslaught of the first rays of the sun, covered with a simple coat of arms evoking a seated human silhouette, pensive, focused on oneself, facing a mountain overlooked by a torii, symbol of a Shinto wisdom that purifies body and mind.

A real battle dress, a humble, pure and decided attitude.

Comments on the taste of the juice

The two styles of fighting are opposed. But sufficiently complementary to give a grandiose spectacle. Where the enemy surprises with the power of its blows, the Dragon Oil responds with the softness and felinity of the gestures. At first, a cloud of pleasure tinted with strawberries and cream comes out. By catching his breath, he exhales a ribbon of anise surrounded by sweet lemon which exalts the harmony of the whole. And when the taste dance ends, he goes into the position of my drunk, how could it be otherwise? And the farandole of flavors lasts and lasts, leaving an almost divine impression of well-being in the mouth.

The Dragon is a great warrior but he works gently and this is all his panache. The taste is tender, very long in the mouth. None of its constituent elements is sacrificed for the glory of another. And the white swirls rising from the field of honor are thick like a Highland mist, so dense for a 50/50 ...

End in the mouth, fruity and anise, the Dragon is different from its adversary. Where the second poses a direct and incisive force, it opposes its androgynous, creamy and finesse sensuality where each fruit leans on the other without confronting each other, where each plant skillfully takes its place for a sweet and fresh finish that remains a long time.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

The Dragon needs a slightly tight and warm vape to transcend himself. It will be at ease in any flavored dripper and will explode in the mouth at an average power of 20W. He is not afraid to get on his high horse by gaining power but the heat distorts him. Consider giving it air.

My mood ticket on this juice

Dragon Oil and Snake Oil have more than just a name in common. The aromas that compose them are similar, if not in taste at least in spirit. But where the British attack with great power and formidable precision, the French responds with a smoothness and mastery of the recipe that amazes. And in the end, it is this behavior that differentiates them and makes them two liquids at opposite ends of the same chessboard. Dragon Oil puts its secret boot on with a velvety and creamy look that English doesn't have. It could please or displease, but in any case it will not leave anyone indifferent and no one can say that Alfaliquid has produced a Snake Oil at a discount. On the contrary, he is a younger brother, softer, more sensual, perhaps a little less assertive but oh so effective.

Another pleasant surprise in this range which already had a good number of them. A great liquid surfing on familiar ground but like a virtuoso who declines his own way of interpreting a score written long before his birth by a talented composer. For that and for the pleasure of having discovered that under the shell of the dragon lived a gentleman, thank you and well done.

The result of the match? Pat!
