Ijoy offers us an RTA atomizer (reconstructable) with a tank with a capacity of 3ml. Quite simple, it has a pleasant aesthetic with a gun metal color coating (glossy brown) on the stainless steel which contrasts with the Ultem drip-tip, a material that I particularly like by its orange-yellow color and its transparency. sentence clouded by substance.
The diameter of this atomizer is 22.5mm, the airflow is variable but for the pin as well as the flow of the liquid, the adjustment will be impossible since they are fixed.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
The Captain Elite is made of stainless steel with a pyrex tank but a second tank is proposed to change the appearance and volume of the tank. However, this second suggestion remains fragile and increases the diameter of the atomizer which goes from a template of 22,5mm to 25mm but the thickness of the glass is rather welcome.
The stainless steel parts have enough material and are properly machined to allow flawless threads. The joints are few because there are only two to seal the tank and two to maintain the drip-tip. It must be said that the bell, the chimney and the top-cap are in one part so inevitably, there will be no escape on that side.
Access to the assembly will not require emptying the tank, provided to place the atomizer upside down and maintain the pyrex to discover this plateau.
The tray is fully gold plated and detaches from the base by unscrewing it because there are pre-mounted trays for this atomizer.
The deck is surprising at first glance because it is a hot dog mount that Ijoy designed but I still regret that the position of the screws is not on each side of the studs to allow left-handed and right-handed shape their resistance (via the turns) in any direction. However, this deck imposes a precise meaning that is favorable to left-handed, nothing insurmountable for the right-handed, of course!
The studs are completely open to easily pass the resistive and the curved shape of each pole comforts this ease to work. Also, the two screws guarantee a good maintenance of the resistive without cutting it.
For the airflow, it is done by two openings on the base of 12 x 2mm, which allows a good dissipation of the heat. Depending on the resistance, it will be useful to leave the airholes wide open or to reduce them to the convenience of the vapoteur by a rotation easy to perform. As for the pine, it is fixed. The functions of this Captain Elite are limited since it can only be used for a reduced power range with a single resistor. The liquid flow is fixed, so we can not use this atomizer for excessive vapors or with too exotic resistors. It's still a pretty atomizer, made to taste the flavors using the temperature control or limiting the power to 40W about.
Very aerial, it allows direct or indirect inhalation and the combustion chamber is reduced, this atomizer proves to be a good taste asset.
The filling of the liquid is simple from the top of the atomizer by offering a nice opening by pushing the removable top-cap. The airflow adjusts, as for the capillary supply, it is of itself at each aspiration through the openings provided on the base of the bell. The pin is not adjustable and therefore can not provide flush mounting systematically.
The mounting plate offers the single coil with simple pads to control and extremely functional, which greatly facilitates the construction. However, pay attention to the direction of rotation when making your coil.

The proprietary drip-tip is in Ultem, moderately short and thick, it is in 510 format and conical shape.
It is a very wide drip-tip at the base with an outside diameter of 16mm and an inner opening which is reduced to 8mm.
In the mouth, this shape is perfect and very comfortable, as is the material that is pleasant and that perfectly dissipates the sensation of heat on the lips. It must also be said that the amount of material on this drip-tip is consistent.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
The box, of rectangular shape in transparent plastic is inserted in a cardboard box which allows to glimpse the atomizer by a window. This packaging corresponds well to the price range of this product.
The interior is attractive, in a black velvet foam, the atomizer is wedged with, next to it, an additional tank different from the first one, a Phillips screwdriver and a bag of accessories filled with 2 joints, 3 spare screws, 1 fused type resistor, a capillary tip, an Allen key and a special white seal that changes in the top-cap.
No explanatory note that could specify how to change the seal of the top-cap, it's a pity.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
For use, it's simple, the simple coil assembly really makes things easier. But be careful to make his turns in the right direction. The capillary passes instinctively into the spaces provided for it to juice juice through the openings on the bell.
The filling is very simple by pushing on the top-cap, the opening is wide enough to spill nothing. At the same time, it is possible to access the tray when the tank is full, by unscrewing the base of the atomizer and taking care to place it upside down. During this manipulation, it is essential to keep the tank on top-cap to avoid the shower on Jeans.
Side vape, it is rather restricted by the flow of liquid which remains moderate and not adjustable. With a Kanthal resistance of 0,5mm of thickness and eight turns for a diameter of 3mm, I get a coil of 0.75Ω. with a power between 30 and 35W, this atomizer is pure happiness. Both on the taste aspect and on the production of steam with a direct inhalation.
For filling, it is very easy but tends to saturate (overflow) depending on the tip of the bottle used.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
I loved this little Captain Elite who impressed me, first by its conductivity, then by its ease of work on the set and finally its rendering.
Although it is limited by a flow of liquid that does not settle, when the assembly is well adjusted to this atomizer, it has a restitution of flavors that is beautiful. At the same time, the production of steam is substantial thanks to a confined evaporation chamber and a well adapted and wide chimney.
To "unleash" a little Captain Elite, it is possible to vape with coils more elaborate fused or Clapton that will allow you to increase the power but it will be to the detriment of the taste that will pass on something average, even classic.
My only minor annoyances on this atomizer have been the direction of the realization of my turns which is contrary to my habits but nothing very bad, the lack of instructions to explain the change of the seal for filling and regret not having found in the packaging, a pre-mounted tray, even slightly increase the price of the pack.
