Vandy Vape is a very active brand at the moment which offers us almost a new atomizer every month. Today, the Chinese firm serves us an atomizer which arises against the current of ultra airy fashion which has been blowing on the vape for a couple of years.
Indeed, the Berserker is a mono coil atomizer whose maximum draft is materialized by an airhole of 1.6 mm in diameter. Offered in an ultra-complete pack, our atomizer is immediately available in two versions. The “short” version, with a capacity of 2ml and the “long”, which can accommodate 4,5ml.
With a price oscillating around 40 €, Vandy Vape remains faithful to its middle market price positioning.
The Berserker is a doped Viking warrior which makes him according to legends a frenzied borderline fighting beast. A surprising choice of name for an atomizer that advocates a wise vape!

To begin with, let's talk about dimensions. For the Berserker, it will also be necessary to speak twice. Indeed, the pack automatically offers two very distinct versions.
Both versions are of course the same diameter, this is 24mm.
Regarding the height, our atomizer will be 30mm in its 2ml version with its Ultem tank and 40mm in its 4,5ml version and its Pyrex tank. There are therefore in our pack two different tanks and two chimneys of a different size.
All parts are well machined, the joints are of good quality. Everything is perfectly maintained in place by threads themselves also well made.
The design is quite neat, the top-cap has an inclined pan on which we find small triangular cuts. On the mantelpiece, a small engraving seems to transform the brand's logo into a Celtic rune.
The base accommodates a ring that has the same type of notch as the top cap, a small teardrop opening reveals the chosen airhole. The possible diameters are: 0,8 / 1 / 1,2 / 1,4 and 1,6mm.
The mounting plate will accommodate a coil with a maximum diameter of 2,5mm, which seems reasonable for the type of vape offered. It has a fairly classic, very Kayfun-like configuration.
The balance is positive. The Berserker looks well designed and its design catches the eye. A beautiful achievement compared to the price and the generosity of the pack.

Our Berserker has everything a tank atomizer needs.
The atomizer top filling system consists of two filling holes under the top cap. As I already mentioned, you will have the choice between two distinct capacities.
The mounting plate is of a simple, ground-breaking design and assembly is therefore greatly facilitated. The cotton is placed naturally on the small holes placed at the bottom of the tray and through which the juice arrives. You just have to find the right dosage, neither too much nor too little, but those used to Kayfun and other atomizers of the same type will not be disoriented. Beginners in reconstructable will also quickly find their marks.
The airflow is adjustable using the ring, it is precise and efficient.
In short, an atomizer in its most classic expression.

The pack does not contain one but two drip-tips. They are identical, only the material changes. There is one in ultem and one in delrin.
The diameter is modest but in correspondence with the draw, the length is average.
They perfectly style our Berserker and harmoniously complement the general line of the atomizer.

Reviewer's comments on conditioning
No complaints. A simple box but very presentable. But it is above all the content that seems flawless to me.
Everything is there, two drip-tips, two tanks of different size, two bells, coils, gaskets, a small specific tool to unscrew the top-fill retaining screw in short a “full option”.
In addition, we have, icing on the cake, a notice in French.
It's in the order of perfect and, if I had to be very (too?) Demanding, I would say that we just lack the cotton to be on top of the best. 😉

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
An atomizer makes for the everyday fans of tight vape.
Rather compact and not requiring a box of high power, it will be a very good companion for nomadism.
Filling from the top, maximum capacity of 4,5ml, it is easily filled even if, in any case, the consumption will be much less than that of a “cloud” type atomizer.
As for the assembly, again nothing complicated, the coil is easily placed and the cotton too even if, as usual, it will be necessary to find the right dosage.
A very simple atomizer in its design and use.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
I believe I have tested most of the atomizers that Vandy Vape has released lately. And, for the moment I was in heaven because all their productions were in phase with the vape that I like the most: the vaporous air. So, when I saw the Berserker, I told myself that a little homecoming wouldn't hurt me.
Indeed, no need to study it for a very long time to realize that there is only one possible air inlet and that the latter is very limited. It remains variable but the proposed diameters seem straight out of a distant past: 1,6mm maximum and 0.8Ω minimum resistance, these are values that will delight lovers of indirect vape. Personally, I hadn't vaped at this level of airflow since my Kayfun Lite.
Once equipped my atomizer with a coil and cotton, I start at the crazy power of… 20W (and again, I am in the upper limit!). I need to find my indirect vaping reflexes forgotten since the massive arrival of ultra-generous atomizers.
After hesitant beginnings, I manage to regain good feelings. A more consistent, wiser and less maddening vape for those around you. A vape full of flavor, warm and perfect for a fine juice or a good tobacco.
I can only put a top on this atomizer. First of all, it has the merit of existing. Indeed, it is really not in tune with the times, rare are the atomizers dedicated to this practice at the moment. It will therefore captivate lovers of soft and silky vape. Then the product is simply good and, finally, the packaging is very complete.
A good atomizer that will delight "old school" vapers and beginners in rebuildable.
