The Bachelor is an interesting atomizer. With its graceful look, it mixes blue sky and steel and leaves a great visibility to the liquid thanks to a large pyrex tank.
Its use remains simple since the filling from the top is practical, the airflows are adjustable with a simple gesture and the liquid flow is adjusted according to the viscosity of your juice or your need according to the assembly carried out. With two major advantages: its capacity of 4ml is important and the assembly is in simple coil.
Its particularity is to have a plateau without stud above its base, but in its base. Thus, it will be convenient to use resistors already pre-built, but be careful there will still be some points to respect. I will give them to you in the "Use" section.
At the vape level, it is a beautiful chimney that is proposed to us since this Bachelor is mainly directed towards sub-ohm with airflows which are very broad and a flow of liquid which has a great flow. But they are of course adjustable.
However, we will see that its implementation is not always as simple as it seems and if for some it will be a perfect atomizer, for others it may cause some problems if all the right ones gestures are not respected. And yes, the more there are settings and possibilities, the more the means to go wrong are important.

Reviewer's comments on physical characteristics and perceived quality
In terms of quality, we remain on the standard with a stainless steel atomizer and its pyrex tank. The quantity of material used is sufficient for a very suitable robustness but the 30mm high pyrex tank remains exposed in the event of a fall.
The overall appearance of the product is pretty and the balance of stainless steel between the top of the tank and the bottom and well distributed to give a very fluid and thin.
The name of the atomizer, Bachelor, is very discreetly engraved on the top-cap and made without burrs. I also appreciated the "O" for Open and "C" for close, written above the airflow ring and on the top-cap, specifying the direction of opening and closing for the air flows. and liquid.
Size, weight and diameter remain standards that fit almost all mods.
Seals and threads are of good quality. For the blue gaskets, they can be replaced with the black ones supplied in the accessories to change the look a bit. As for the threads, I regret the lower quality of those of the plate which are used to maintain the legs of the resistance because one of the threads does not hold well on my copy.
It is a mid-range product whose quality is honorable.

Reviewer's comments on functional features
For this atomizer, the main functional characteristics are simplicity and power:
Simplicity : The Bachelor has very few parts for a rebuildable tank. The filling is done from the top by tilting part of the top-cap, no need to screw or unscrew.
The air flow adjustment is guided by a rotating ring that adjusts for very airflow or very tight airflow. That of the liquid flow is done by rotating the tank and, as for the airflow, it must be positioned more or less open depending on the power (and therefore the resistive value) and the viscosity of the liquid.
Simplicity also for the assembly which is in simple coil and especially perfectly adapted to the resistances already pre-built with legs in the vertical which require a spacing and a height of approximately 0.8mm.
Power : The juice flow is substantial, even with a 90% VG liquid. The airholes, two in number and of the Cyclops type, allow a very airy draw. It is therefore necessary to build a single resistor of at least 0.5Ω to balance the equation: juice flow / airflow / assembly / power. Without the studs on the board, the space left around the resistance is conducive to flavors close to a good dripper and a significant production of vapor.
The pin is made of copper and allows good conductivity, but it is not adjustable. The possible quantity of liquid in the tank is 4ml for maximum autonomy. The double airholes measure 7mm x 2mm and access to the assembly does not require emptying the tank. Regarding the heat dissipation, I found it very good.
However, I regret the holes intended for the attachment of the resistance legs which can be an asset for the pre-coils, but which remains limited by a diameter of 1.2 millimeters. It is therefore very difficult to make imposing or eccentric assemblies. On the other hand, the value of the resistance should be around 0.3 / 0.5Ω with high powers, to limit the risk of leaks since the internal airflow nozzles, which are located on the plate, are positioned on one side only, near the arrival of the liquid, which makes everything conducive to leaks.

A packaging that looks like Ehpro, always suitable, in a semi-rigid cardboard box. There is the atomizer of course, with a spare tank.
Ehpro also offers us a pre-mounted resistance with the bit and accessories such as the gaskets to change those of the tank in black and two BTR screws with the corresponding key. Too bad, there is not the silicone part that fits into the top-cap for filling.
A simple notice, entirely in English, is provided but full of diagrams, it is completely understandable even for an anglophobe.
At the reception of your Bachelor, this one is already built with 0.4Ω resistor with 0.8 resistive wire or 1mm on 10 turns and its wick.

Reviewer's comments on the use of the product
This atomizer is of a disconcerting simplicity, with a filling at the top, an airflow adjustable to the wish of a simple rotation and a liquid flow dosed according to the viscosity by just rotating the tank.
But be careful, when filling, it is imperative to close the arrival of the liquid to avoid risking flooding in the airflows. It's the same if you stop vaping or if the top cap is not properly closed, the leaks appear quite easily. Depending on the value of the resistance and the power to which you are vaping, oozing occurs.
It is important to build resistances low enough to consume the liquid that arrives, even when the arrival of the juice is restricted so as not to suffer this inconvenience. Anyway, this atomizer is clearly oriented for sub-ohm.
For the tray: there is enough space for a simple coil, but the collar that borders it is unfortunately fixed, which somewhat hinders the adjustment of the legs if necessary.
The hole where the legs are inserted is also narrow, with a diameter of about 1.2 to 1.5mm. Therefore, to vape in sub-ohm on the Bachelor, you have no choice but to use resistive wires of at least 0.5mm and reshape your legs or take a bigger wire, to realize at least 10 turns and play on the diameter of your support.
We are considerably limited in resistive wire and in freedom on this plateau.
On the other hand, for pre-built resistances, it's superb! No need to get tired, I recommend resistors between 0.3 and 0.5Ω with a resistive 0.8mm to have a good formatting. Just trim the legs, insert them and fix by screwing.
Also be careful not to mount your coil too much because you risk a short circuit by then placing the bell on your assembly. In order to adjust your resistors before inserting them, I have made some photos for you to give you a visual template: the spacing of the legs is about 0.6mm, which almost corresponds to the size of the airflow (0.7mm ) and the length is just above the airflow when the resistance is placed at the level of the pine (see photo below).
At the level of the vape, when everything is well balanced, it's a real wonder. The steam is abundant and the flavors perfectly restored. It's simple, it really feels like a vengeance on a dripper.

The mood ticket of the reviewer
Obviously, like any product that you acquire, you must on the one hand use it for what it is for and on the other hand have sufficient knowledge to alleviate the concerns that you encounter.
This is why this Bachelor will not be suitable for beginners but rather for vapers who already have some knowledge of rebuildable atomizers with tank. No need to be an expert either, once the assembly is well done, it is really easy to use. But the assembly will not tolerate approximation.
It is an atomizer which is especially designed for a very particular style of resistance. I almost want to say that it is exclusive to a "coil jig", for large diameter wires with a fairly low resistive value.
No eccentricity possible with the Bachelor and leaks that appear quite easily if you do not master this atomizer.
Too bad because at the level of the vape, it is splendid, worthy of a dripper. It restores beautiful flavors and the vapor density is hallucinating.
A lot of advantages but as many disadvantages that can be neutralized by a good knowledge of the reconstructible.
