Comments on the packaging

The #9 is the latest e-liquid from the trilogy on tea that Claude Henaux offers us in his collection. If the two previous references have proven to be essential juices for lovers of this drink, it's a safe bet that it will behave the same way.

Taking its surname from Genghis Khan who, if legend is to be believed, encouraged his warriors to drink tea to give them courage for battle, the # 9 is presented as its fellow believers in the range in elegant and understated packaging. . A bottle whose taut lines evoke perfumery rests in a cardboard box reminiscent of artisanal products. A product that Marco Polo would not have denied when the Venetian traveler haunted the court of Kubilai Khan and brought back recipes for scented tea.

The informative mentions are all present and highlighted. They remain visible even when the juice is in its box, through a clever window giving access to their reading. The # 9 is available in 0, 3, 6 and 12mg / ml of nicotine and in capacities of 30ml (for now) and 10ml. The liquid itself is mounted on a 40/60 PG / VG ratio base, output ratio and not input, which means that the liquid you are vaping contains the promised 60% of vegetable glycerin.

No dyes, no sweetener, no flavor enhancers, no alcohol, no water, this product corresponds well to the charter that the manufacturer has set for its entire range: to be as close as possible aromas, as close as possible to the taste truth.

Vapelier's note regarding the respect of various conformities (except religious): 4.5 / 5 4.5 5 out of stars

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

If we except the absence of the mention of the production laboratory, the creator jealously wishing to keep his manufacturing secrets, the # 9 is free from any reproach on the crucial chapter of safety.

It contains the elements to ensure that children will not open the vial and the certainty that the vial has not been opened before you. Classic.

We also note the mandatory pictograms, the raised triangle for the visually impaired, health warnings. Classic too.

There is a DLUO and a lot number. Good, always very classic.

But there is a unique serial number for each bottle! And there, we are no longer in ready-to-wear but in haute couture. Supreme refinement which, beyond ensuring unprecedented and exemplary traceability, also assumes a good quality elitism by giving each user the feeling of having in his possession a unique liquid.

Appreciation of the packaging

  • Does the graphic design of the label and the product name agree ?: Yes
  • Global correspondence of the packaging with the product name: Yes
  • The packaging effort made is in accordance with the price category: Yes

Vapelier's note regarding packaging with regard to juice category: 5 / 5 5 5 out of stars

Comments on the packaging

The packaging is considered by many to be the least important thing in an e-liquid. This is also why the final mark does not take into account the one attributed to it. It is quite funny how much consumers care about it when it comes to a daily consumer product. Imagine buying a pair of shoes without a box, an overpriced large wine in a plastic bottle or even capsules that the pharmacist would give you directly in your hand… Unimaginable, isn't it?

Here, the manufacturer has taken the measure of the respect that a seller must have for the consumer but also of the power of seduction that a beautiful bottle can add to the user experience. The bottle is tailor-made, Claude Henaux having had it molded for his range. The dark label combines French culture with a nod to a literary radio show and adds the deeply epicurean aspect of the Venice carnival.

For an identical price, he could also have sold it in a plastic bottle, this would not have affected the quality of the juice. But the manufacturer is like that, he wants everything that bears his name to be able to associate an image of voluptuous luxury and refinement. We can like it or not, but it is all the same a certain idea of the French class, to which, you will not make me believe the opposite, we are all sensitive.

Sensory appreciations

  • Color and product name agree ?: Yes
  • Do the smell and the name of the product agree ?: Yes
  • Definition of smell: Fruity
  • Definition of flavor: Sweet, Spicy (oriental), Herbal, Fruit
  • The taste and the name of the product, do they agree ?: Yes
  • Did I like this juice ?: I won't splurge on it
  • This liquid reminds me of: A cocktail of red fruits flavored with tea.

Vapelier's note on the sensory experience: 4.38/5 4.4 5 out of stars

Comments on the taste of the juice

These are red fruits that invite themselves first in your palate during the first puff. A compote more exactly, from which it is difficult to extract one fruit rather than another but which has the advantage of a very smooth and sweet flavor. Slightly caramelized, this fruit confit does not forget to remain realistic and literally captivates the taste buds.

Just behind follows a black tea, subtly smoked, which will ensure all the base note. The red fruits appear then wander off as the puff takes place, giving way to the typical bitterness of the central element.

Sweet notes appear from time to time, spectral reminiscences of a caramel from cooking fruit.

The recipe captivates and will appeal to fruit and tea lovers. It gives pride of place to a balance that commands admiration and the aromatic perception is facilitated by the quality of the components.

I regret, however, even if we can only appreciate this moment in a state of grace, not to find the same stature as the two previous numbers, more raw, more rustic and undoubtedly less consensual. But, in all objectivity, this in no way alters the intrinsic quality of this red fruit tea, which is surely more accessible to a less knowledgeable audience.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

To vape in an atomizer that puts the flavors forward, of course, so as not to miss all the subtleties that will then enamel your vape session. The temperature remains at your convenience since the liquid behaves as well in warm / cold as lukewarm / hot vapor. No need to crush him with too much power even if he happily accepts to pass certain caps.

The vapor is beautiful and white, a sign of a controlled VG level and the hit is within the norm for the nicotine level.

My mood ticket on this juice

Another great success in a range that is starting to count only that. Undoubtedly this collection which is enriched little by little is such a personal challenge for the creator that he puts all his experience and his life there and it is without doubt what makes the difference.

These juices have an extraordinary personality and surf between currents and fashions to exist only by themselves. They're not cheap, it's true, but they offer something other than a potential allday. It is a real initiation into rare and subtle tastes, privileged moments not to be shared with anyone, that we can treat ourselves from time to time, to break with the rush of everyday life.

In this collection, # 9 has its place and even if I preferred the two previous opus to it, I find it masterful in its realistic and greedy interpretation of a black tea with red fruits. The note itself testifies to this.

I was told that three other offspring will soon be in the circuit, so I look forward to continuing this adventure further which has led me for the moment from the flanks of Fujiyama to the gates of the Forbidden City, passing through the palace of Xandu.
