Seeming straight from perfumery, the bottle exacerbates the senses with its timeless straight lines reminiscent of a bourbon evening at the Magnificent Gatsby. The anthracite label sets a sober and dark background or guesses a mask and a feather to illustrate French culture well this time around.
The corrugated cardboard box is not only protective but also practical because it allows to read the mentions of the label of the bottle, whether it is in front or behind or is arranged a small ad hoc opening which also serves to remove the bottle from its cradle of cardboard. Comments on the taste of the juice
Sometimes the secret to a recipe is its simplicity. A simplicity which requires control, precision of dosage and quality of ingredients. Here there are three. But each aroma employed is magnificent in distinction and realism.
Cassis, the famous pearl of Burgundy evoked by the name of the juice, is the centerpiece of this delicate balance. This is a juicy blackcurrant, very slightly acidic but never aggressive, which expresses its sugar better than its acidity. I think I recognize here the so-called “noir de Bourgogne” variety, an old French strain that has less sour characteristics than blackcurrant.
The berry therefore rests on a bed of fresh mint, also very realistic, which does not dispute its leadership. She is there, present but discreet, to best enhance the taste of the main artist. A light dose of menthol takes care of slightly refreshing the whole, enough to give it space in the mouth and give us a feeling of fresh product.
As usual at Claude Henaux, the recipe is balanced on a thread and remains delicate even if the aromatic power is strong and frank. A success that fans of fruity and fine liquids will love.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
No need to push the steam engine at the risk of derailing. The aromatic power is comfortable and all the flavors are already emerging perfectly well at reasonable power. Be careful not to overheat, so as to be in the juice category without perverting it. # 4 also accepts to be very ventilated if you wish. Here again, its power ensures that its flavors do not disappear.

My mood ticket on this juice
Although not, strictly speaking, a fruity / minty lover, I really enjoyed my tête-à-tête with # 4 and I must confess that I vaped 15ml of it during the day. Its specificity, its very originality, lies in the treatment of the recipe. Not adding sweeteners keeps each aroma realistic and avoids any nauseating that might arise from a sticky taste of cough syrup.
We are here at the heart of the fruit. There is no vulgarity, no exaggeration. The mint just spices the whole without distorting it. So much so that this nectar will not only make the old accustomed to fruity e-liquids fail, but also the beginner in vape who will be surprised to find in # 4 such a sharp blackcurrant.
A bias towards realism that the manufacturer gradually declines throughout its range. A major range, certainly.
