Vape Institut is a French brand installed in Alsace. This small brand was born from the passion of a cook for vaping. At first our friend, tail master, was simply doing DIY for himself and his loved ones. But quickly faced with the success of his creations, he naturally had the idea of becoming a juice manufacturer. His wife then joined him in the adventure and the small brand quickly rose to become a reference among experienced vapers. Some of their liquids such as Tallak, for example, are already essential.
Today it is a creation intended for fans of big vape on Dripper with a ratio of 30PG / 70VG that we are going to discover.
The 13th Prototype is a new concept. The proposal: a juice, 3 variations. A 120 ml vial contains, I mean, the basic source juice. It is accompanied by two aroma boosters: The Female Patient and the Male Patient. Each of the boosters offers a variation on the basic recipe. The kit is completed with two smaller bottles labeled with the colors of the boosters. They are, you guessed it, intended for the preparation of the mixture of source juice / boosters. Note that the recommended proportion for this mixture is 10% booster.
This juice is only available in 0 mg nicotine, but Vape Institute offers parallel boosters of nicotine. This booster of 20 mg nicotine in vial of 10 ml is proposed at the price of 1,50 €.
In short, a nice complete package, more than to make our little meals and to taste.

This Prototype 13 being a liquid containing 0 mg of nicotine, it does not need all the usual security elements. No marking for the blind or safety caps. The rest is present so everything is rolling. However, I will still have a small reservation. Since I am offered nicotine boosters in parallel, if I make my mixture in the bottles provided, I end up with a nicotine product without any element to indicate it. So I probably quibble for some, but I would still be in favor of a secure cap system.

Comments on the packaging
A unicorn bottle, perfect for feeding a dripper. The illustration on the label, which represents a DNA chain emanating a green glow, is framed by the name of the juice and the brand logo. Everything is arranged on a dark background.
The other two bottles are smaller in size, they use the same theme but in different colors. A sea green for the male patient and a purple shade of pink for the female patient.
The presentation is in total phase with the name and the science fiction universe that it can evoke to fans of films such as Aliens, or Resident Evil.

Comments on the taste of the juice
One liquid for three flavors. Let's start with the basic recipe for the 13th prototype. To the smell the juice gives off something similar to Goose from Quacks juices. It smells like a gourmet. On paper we are told: ”a gourmet mix of popcorn and lightly caramelized nuts, combined with delicious vanilla! “
Indeed, we have something like that. A sort of Goose-style custard but less spicy, I grant you, a shortcut and duck fans may throw stones at me, but that's what this juice reminds me of. It is not as good for me, and I am not a fan of the mix, the vanilla is not sweet enough for my taste and the rest of the components are too imprecise for me.
For the male patient version, maple syrup and blueberries are added to the recipe. The smell changes and is enriched with a fruity note. To taste, the blueberry tickles the taste buds, the maple syrup is more discreet. This is my favorite version.
Finally, the female patient will bring a mixture of red fruits with honey and “marshmallows”. So the red fruit touch is rather thin, the marshmallow and honey are felt a little more. It transforms the original recipe well, but the fruity touch does not seem to me sufficiently present.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting
A juice that is made to express itself thanks to a generous or even ultra generous airflow, and unspeakable powers. And for having tried on a wiser atomizer, at more conventional powers, I can confirm that our 13th prototype prefers hot weather.

My mood ticket on this juice
An original concept, a basic recipe, two flavor boosters and ultimately three juices. It's a good idea, we are almost in a “no man's land” located between the DIY and the ready-to-vape liquid. The kit is quite complete and the price very attractive, although I would have appreciated having level marks on the bottles intended for mixtures to simplify the dosage and avoid the user having to resort to measuring utensils.
I am more reserved when it comes to recipes. The basic one is in a good average, without succeeding in my opinion, to stand out from the crowd. The female version is not very expressive, it does not transform the basic recipe, at best it softens it. Only the male patient finds favor with my eyes, the blueberry is very nice and brings relief to the whole of the basic recipe.
A kit in 0 mg of nicotine, which must be completed with the help of nicotine booster. Finally, if you like, since this juice is aimed at fans of big sensations, since these liquids need a little power to express themselves.
A correct liquid but without finesse, an innovative concept and a competitive price, these are the components of this 13 th prototype that is intended for vapers fans of big clouds.
