Comments on the packaging

Vert de Gascogne is a liquid that is part of the range developed by TeVap, in the category of tobaccos. A product packaged in a transparent bottle of 10ml, which remains common to many productions of this type.

Based on proportions of propylene glycol and vegetable glycerin in 50% each, the flavor / vapor balance is perfectly respected and for this test my bottle is in 6mg / ml of nicotine. However, the range offered by TeVap for the dosage of nicotine is sufficient with several dosages from 0: 6, 12 and 16 mg / ml.

The cap has a seal which certifies that it has never been opened and as soon as you open it you discover a fine tip, very useful for pouring the liquid in an atomizer tank or directly on the assembled assembly, associated with a bottle flexible enough to exert moderate pressure and accurate payout.

Comments on the security, legal, health and religious aspects

Labeling is done on two levels. A first part is visible on the bottle, with a second part that requires lifting the first to reveal all the inscriptions. Overall, we find all the useful information on the surface label, such as the composition, various warnings, the nicotine level, the percentage PG / VG, the capacity as well as the name of the product and its manufacturer.

The BBD with the lot number are written under the bottle, but these inscriptions are fragile and may easily fade.

The other part that is necessary to take off, is a leaflet providing details on the handling of the product, its storage, warnings and the risk of side effects. We also have the name of the laboratory with the coordinates and the service reachable by phone or email if necessary.

The cap is perfect and it is an important point for the safety of the children and the assurance of a good protection, as for the other regulatory aspects, All the pictograms are present. Very big in a white diamond bordered in red, we have that of the dangerousness with its widely recognizable exclamation point, it is made compulsory by the presence of nicotine (at 6 mg / ml on this test). In the vicinity, there are three other pictograms, the one intended to prohibit sale to minors and not recommended for pregnant women as well as the sign for recycling. On the bottle is affixed a large relief triangle for the visually impaired, even if such relief is already present and molded on the top of the cap.

Comments on the packaging

The bottle does not have a box, TeVap offers us a sober and elegant visual in brown and blond tones. In the foreground the logo of the brand with the name "Terroir and Steam", followed by the name of the liquid "Green Gascogne" and nicotine, on a third of the bottle. A second third is reserved for pictograms and composition, while the third, in a black rectangle on a white background, you will find precautionary measures.

Nothing exceptional about this packaging which, given its price range, could have benefited from an effort to distinguish itself a little from other products of this type. Nevertheless, the double label is a judicious system, not only to provide all the information, but above all to keep the format of the inscriptions sufficiently legible, without the need for a magnifying glass. The label is devoid of drawing, photos or image, the graphics seem quite simple to me considering its price range. The bottom of the label has a burlap look in a brown-beige color reminiscent of the hue of tobacco.

Under the visible part to be lifted, there is only a notice with inscriptions aimed at informing you about this product and which it is important to take into consideration, such as the contact details of a customer service in case of need.

Comments on the taste of the juice

This Vert de Gascogne has a rather discreet smell that is very difficult to perceive by smell. I don't have a particular perfume and I will have to vape it to try to dissect its taste.

In the vape, I'm a little disappointed by this tobacco that is still nice to vape, but I did not expect such a mentholated orientation. Indeed, from the first aspiration, I feel two flavors very different from each other and yet they get married very well. A fairly discrete blond tobacco that offers a roasted flavor that is distinguished perfectly, but also disappears, in front of a mint too present, or should I say overwhelming without particular charm.

It's a shame, because we are on a fairly banal mint perceptible down to the back of the throat and which largely dominates this little flavor of almost shy toasted blond tobacco, which nevertheless has a crazy charm (memories memories…).

But what happened on this juice? I am really frustrated with each aspiration, not feeling enough that taste of tobacco that seems original, this little taste of grilled so appetizing, but so circumspect.

This tobacco is literally dispossessed of its classification to enter a mentholated category.

Comments and recommendations for an optimal tasting

The Green of Gascony remains pleasant to vape and offers the possibility to increase power on an atomizer. The taste does not vary much on heating but further reduces the flavor of tobacco, which is a shame.
For an 6mg / ml the hit seems to me to match and concerning the steam, it is in an average density / volume which is typically that of a liquid in 50 / 50 PG / VG.

My mood ticket on this juice

The green of Gascony is very frustrating for me, because I expected to vape a tobacco much more present in the mouth. Certainly the tobacco smells, but it is largely dominated by mint which hinders the scent of a very blond and roasted leaf aroma. Under this mint, there is undoubtedly a warm and gourmet sweetness that would like to express itself more, but which cannot and the more you increase the power the more it dissipates. With each aspiration I feel like I'm missing something. However, despite the taste proportions between the two flavors which seem unbalanced to me, the taste is pleasant, what a pity!

Disappointed also by a banal packaging since this product is in a medium range, no box, no tinted bottle, or even a label pictured but hey ... regulatory side, security aspects, legal and sanitary are particularly well applied and it is a French product that we can be proud of. The taste and the flavors feel good and are good, but my personal appreciation remains on this frustrating imbalance which in the end does not offer enough originality.
